Welcome to Hannaford State School.
It is a privilege to serve as the Acting Principal of Hannaford State School in 2026. Our school is a place where strong relationships, high expectations and a deep sense of community sit at the heart of everything we do.
At Hannaford State School, we are guided by our belief to “Make learning a life experience.” This is reflected in the way we connect learning to real world experiences, build resilience and confidence, and support every student to develop a lifelong love of learning.
Our school vision "working together to build positive partnerships, creating learners that strive to succeed within and beyond our rural community" underpins all that we do. We value the strong partnerships between students, families, staff and our wider community, recognising that learning is most powerful when we work together.
We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student is known, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our Student Code of Conduct reflects our shared commitment to positive behaviour, personal responsibility and mutual respect. We hold high expectations for learning and behaviour while supporting students to make positive choices and develop the skills they need for success now and into the future.
